Laser Toning

Laser toning for acne scars and pits works by delivering controlled laser energy to the skin, promoting collagen production and remodelling scarred tissues.

The laser’s targeted energy encourages new skin growth while diminishing the appearance of scars and pits, ultimately leading to smoother and more rejuvenated skin with reduced acne scarring.

Our Laser Toning Program

Step 1: Preparation

Gentle facial cleansing is done thoroughly to remove any makeup, oil or impurities from the skin.

Step 2: Prepping the Skin

We apply a degreaser to ensure the skin's surface is free from oils or residues that might interfere with the peel.

Step 3: Protective Measures

We apply a thin layer of glycerin / petroleum jelly to protect sensitive areas such as the eyes, lips and nostrils, from the peel solution.

Step 4: Application

We evenly apply the peel solution to the treatment area, avoiding the delicate areas around the eyes and lips.

Step 5: Removal and Soothing

After the session, we do icing followed by a soothing facial mask and moisturiser. Then, sunscreen is applied to the treated area.

FAQ's

Laser toning is a procedure that uses specific wavelengths of light to target and reduce the appearance of acne scars and pits by stimulating collagen production and remodelling the damaged skin.
To treat your acne scars, the procedure uses a laser to penetrate your dermis and once the laser energy penetrates deep enough, it will break apart purplish and brownish pigments, which are left behind by pimples.

The number of sessions required varies greatly, depending on the seriousness of the scarring but patients usually see results after the first session.

The downtime is minimal. Most people can resume their normal activities immediately after the procedure. However, it’s common to experience some mild redness or slight swelling, which typically subsides within a few hours to a day.
