Step 1: Consultation

Consult with our expert dermatologist to assess your suitability for PRP therapy. Discuss your medical history, current medications and expectations.

Step 2: Goal Setting

A numbing anaesthetic is sprayed on the treatment area on the scalp. Then, a small amount of blood will be drawn from your arm, to collect a sample for PRP preparation. This tube is then placed in a centrifuge.

Step 3: Centrifugation

The centrifuge spins the blood sample at a rapid speed to separate it's components. This process isolates the platelet-rich plasma from other blood elements.

Step 4: PRP Extraction

Once separated, the PRP, a concentrated form of platelets, growth factors and other beneficial components, is extracted from the tube. This tube is enriched with Biotin.

Step 5: Scalp Preparation

The targeted area on your scalp is cleaned and prepared for the PRP injection. Sometimes, local anaesthesia might be applied to minimize discomfort during the procedure.

Step 6: PRP Injection

Using a syringe, the PRP solution is injected into the areas of the scalp where hair loss or thinning is prevalent. The injections are typically administered at multiple points across the affected area.
