FUE Hair Transplant

Follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplants are done by taking individual hair follicles out of your skin and implanting them elsewhere on your body. This will make the hair in the new area look thicker.

Our Alopecia / Baldness Program

Step 1: Consultation

During the consultation, our dermatologist will examine your scalp, discuss your medical history, assess the hair loss pattern and explain the potential outcomes and expectations of the procedure.

Step 2: Designing a hairline

Using a marker, a proposed hairline is designed on the patient's scalp. This design considers various factors such as the patient's facial symmetry, forehead shape, natural hairline pattern, and age-appropriate hair density to achieve a natural-looking result. We take our patient's inputs while designing this hairline.

Step 3: Preparation

On the day of the procedure, your hair will be trimmed short to facilitate the extraction and transplantation process.

Step 4: Anaesthesia

A small amount of anaesthesia is injected onto your arm to check if your skin is allergic or hypersensitive to the anaesthesia. Blood pressure is monitored.

FAQ's

Before booking an FUE treatment or any other kind of hair restoration procedure, our dermatologist thoroughly evaluates your scalp.

Our expert dermatologists ensure that you will have the most natural results. The grafting techniques associated with FUE, treats each hair follicle independently so placement of the implanted hair can be well managed, giving you natural looking, dense hair.

Depending on the size of the treated area and the number of hair required for the procedure, the hair transplant can take, on average, between six to eight hours.
