Step 1: Skin Preparation

Before the session, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to remove makeup, oil and any skincare products.

Step 2: Eye Protection

Both you and the practitioner will wear protective eyewear to shield your eyes from the intense light during the procedure.

Step 3: Gel Application

A cooling gel is applied to the treatment area to enhance the effectiveness of the IPL and to protect the skin.

Step 4: Application

A hand-held IPL device is placed against the skin and pulses of broad-spectrum light are emitted. The light penetrates the skin, targeting the bacteria (P. acnes) and sebaceous glands associated with acne.

Step 5: Post-Treatment Care

After the session, any gel applied will be removed. Icing is done and a soothing moisturiser is applied to the treated area. It's crucial to follow post-treatment instructions provided by our practitioner, which include avoiding sun exposure and using gentle skincare products.
