Step 1: Consultation

Our dermatologist will examine your skin, evaluate the type and severity of your acne scars and determine if subcision is a suitable treatment for you.

Step 2: Preparation

Before the procedure, your skin will be cleaned thoroughly to minimise the risk of infection. - A numbing cream or local anaesthesia will be applied to the treatment area.

Step 3: Procedure

Once the area is numb, our dermatologist will carefully break the fibrous bands beneath the skin's surface using a specialised needle.

Step 4: Post-Procedure Care

Icing is done on the treated area and an antibiotic ointment is applied to the treated area to prevent infection followed by the application of sunscreen.
